In August of 2005, BSIS created an Information Outreach Program to educate the
Security Industry and Law Enforcement agencies concerning statutory requirements
and regulations. The Information Outreach Program has been extremely successful
visiting and educating approximately 2,000 security businesses and over 100 law
enforcement agencies.
We will continue to provide educational information daily through BSIS staff
but are now focusing on enforcement of the Business and Professions codes that
regulate the Security Industry to ensure California Consumer protection.
